Website Outages - Domain Direct Sucks

Well, obviously if you are reading this, the site is not down at the moment but it could be soon! We use a service called domain direct that hosts some of the email functions and other aspects of 'thecreems.com'. I've had them for a number of years but for well over a year now, their e-mail servers have been up, down, borked, hosed, hacked, freaked, lame, and broken. I think they also smell bad but I can't confirm that. I've had enough and it is time to switch. The problem is that switching providers is never easy so expect some problems.

In the early days of the web, there were several "Whats cool?" or "Whats New?" pages that I would visit. When the web was small these things worked well but after a few years there was so much new stuff that those pages died. There was so much cool stuff but what is cool to you might not be cool to me so sites like those faded off my bookmarks list.

Well...Something like that has returned. Let the time wasting clicking resume...
