In the early days of the web, there were several "Whats cool?" or "Whats New?" pages that I would visit. When the web was small these things worked well but after a few years there was so much new stuff that those pages died. There was so much cool stuff but what is cool to you might not be cool to me so sites like those faded off my bookmarks list.
Well...Something like that has returned. Let the time wasting clicking resume...
Visit Stumbleupon.com and download their browser extention. You do have to sign up (though it is free) and register a few high level topics of interest. Once you do this, you will have a new browser button that you can click whenever you get bored and perhaps find an interesting site you never would have found otherwise.
I'll post a few sites that I have "stumbled upon" here when something is really cool to me.
