Ada

  • A# Ada for .Net (342)
A# is a port of Ada to the Microsoft .NET Platform. A# is freely distributed by the Department of Computer Science at the United States Air Force Academy as a service to the Ada community under the terms of the GNU general public license.

A# has been fully integrated into AdaGIDE, a leading open-source IDE for Ada under Windows. A .NET port of the multi-platform open-source GUI Design tool RAPID has been completed. Negotiations are in progress with Microsoft to include Ada in Visual Studio .NET.

  • Ada Binding to GNU Bintuils BFD Library. (147)
BfdAda allows to write Ada programs that read object files, archives
or program executables to scan their content and their symbol tables.
It provides the full BFD API to:

Access the sections the binary file is composed of

Access the symbol table with the definition of each symbol

Disassemble the code using the BFD disassembler corresponding
    to the binary file.

  • Ada Compiler for the 8 bit AVR Processor (592)
AVR-Ada aims to make the Ada part of gcc usable on AVR microcontrollers. This includes the three elements: - the Ada compiler - the Ada run time system - the AVR support library Some sample programs will be provided as well.

  • Ada OpenGL Binding (470)
This Ada-binding to OpenGL aims at providing the latest OpenGL features in a collection of Ada packages. It also supports the major OpenGL support libraries such as GLU, GLUT and GLFW.
  • Ada Structured Library (319)
This package contains a set of Ada95 container classes, both generic and inheritance based. It also contains a set of utilities, including an abstract I/O interface, a telnet protocol engine, and others.

  • AdaCL Library (198)
AdaCL is a library to write small, script like, programs in Ada. The main task currently implemented are filtering of text files (global search and replace) , execution of external programs (inclusive redirection of standard input and standard output) and command line parsing.

While GNAT itself has build in support for all theses functionality, AdaCL support them in an object orientated manner. Also care have been taken to keep all objects thread save.

To support the main task of AdaCL a thick binding to the Boehm-Demers-Weiser conservative garbage collector and an extension kit for the Ada95 Booch Components are included as well.

  • AdaDoc (249)
The AdaDoc project automatically produces HTML documentation for Ada 95 packages (similar to javadoc).
  • AdaGIde (240)
AdaGIDE is the Ada GNAT Integrated Development Environment for Windows 95/NT. It consists of an editor that interfaces to the GNAT Ada compilers. AdaGIDE was implemented entirely in Ada 95 using the win32ada binding.
  • Adalog - Collection of a few useful Ada utilities (125)
Just a bunch of useful libraries and tools for Ada developers.
  • Adapower.com (151)
A pretty up to date web site containing general Ada information as well as Windows specific Ada software (GNATCOM)
